Eligibility & Admissions SCMHRD : 

Eligibility Criteria

General MBA Program:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

MBA in Infrastructure Development and Management (IDM):

  • BE/BTech/BArch/BPlan degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

MBA in Business Analytics:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks and 2 years of work experience.

Executive MBA:

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
  • Final Year Students: Candidates appearing for their final year exams are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria by the time of admission.
  • Entrance Exam Requirement: All candidates must appear for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) and secure a qualifying score to be considered for further selection rounds, which include a Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise (GE), and Personal Interaction (PI).

Admission and Selection Process:

  • Qualifications: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university.
  • SNAP Examination: Candidates must register and take the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), which serves as the admission exam for all Symbiosis postgraduate institutes. 
  • Selection Rounds: Candidates who make the shortlist based on their SNAP scores will move on to the following phases of selection:
  • Test of Written Ability (WAT)
  • Exercise in Groups (GE)
  • Individual Interview (PI)
  • Weightage for Final Selection: The final merit list is compiled based on the following criteria:
  • SNAP Score: 50%
  • Personal Interview: 30%
  • Group Exercise: 10%
  • Written Ability Test: 10%
  • Declaration of Merit List: The SCMHRD will release the final merit list following the conclusion of all selection stages. Listed candidates must complete the admissions process and pay the necessary fees in order to get a seat.

Hostel and Accommodation:  

Residential facilities are available to all students on campus. Boys' and girls' separate residential buildings offer triple-sharing rooms with adjacent bathrooms. Extras include laundry, twice-weekly room cleaning, and a hot water supply that is available around the clock. The student's everyday necessities are met by a juice bar and a well-stocked temporary store. In addition, the boys' hostel's "Bala" store makes sure that students never have to worry about starvation.
